American Scholarship in Bachelor Degree

The AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship aims to promote educational access and opportunity while enhancing international diversity. Through this program, you will realize that you are improving day by day within the learning community and environment.

Nationality: international students

Where: American University, USA

Scholarship award: all billable AU expenses (full tuition, room and board)

Degree: undergraduate study

Eligibility

In order to be eligible, you:

  • Are not a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or dual citizen of the U.S. and another country
  • Are not attend in any post-secondary study
  • Are not graduate secondary school earlier than 2017
  • Have overcome various obstacles and challenges as well as those from diverse and underrepresented global and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Obtain at least 3.8 GPA equivalent out of 4.0 GPA (or in the top 10% of graduating class) for 9th-12th grades.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to leadership, volunteerism, community service and to advancing the needs of people in home country

How to apply: complete the AU EGLS application, Common or Coalition Application, and international admissions process
